Our friends from Guitarist Magazine dropped by a studio session last week to do an interview, photoshoot and record some short video lessons. Matt discussed the recording and inspiration behind his latest album project, as well as talking gear and guitars (of course!) The interview and video will be featured in the magazine later in the year.

A brand new album, recorded during our winter 2011 UK tour, capturing the Matt Schofield Trio at it's very best - LIVE! Over an hour of power from Matt, Jonny Henderson and Kevin Hayes, featuring 10 previously unreleased, extended and expanded versions of songs from Anything But Time, and other favourites from the band's back catalogue.

Our next U.K. outing is as special guest with the fantastic Joe Satriani on his nationwide tour. We hope to see all our old friends around the country, and we are looking forward to making some new ones along the way. It's gonna be an incredible night for guitar lovers. The tour will feature the original MS Trio line-up, with Jonny Henderson and Evan Jenkins.

We are very proud to announce a new release from Free The Tone pedals -  the Matt Schofield Signature SOV Special Overdrive pedal. We have been working very closely with Yuki Hayashi and the team in Japan to create this uniquely musical sounding pedal. Based on Matt's personal favourite SOV pedal that he's used for many years, and updated with the latest switching and buffer system. The MS-SOV Special is limited edition and will be available throughout 2013.
